Yes, I can be intense (or maybe we should call it "interested and involved"); however I'm also one of the most easygoing persons you will meet. (I am a study not in contrasts but in dualities.)

I evacuated to a friend in Shepherd, Tx. My bank limited me on $, couldn't use it to buy anything until a week ago. The storm came pretty close to us. My friend fruited out abit, her husband and I just slept. That didn't help her mental state!
We came through with no damage-learned to sleep with the sound of a generator going constantly...
An experience I don't want to repeat!
