Trivia: Is that a banjo joke?

Caught a bit of Family Guy where Brian is singing about how society has changed since the 60s -- "except the South" with a hillbilly-and-banjo scene.
 
I'd maintain a list of banjo-bashing jokes (accordion-bashing too) but I don't want to perpetuate the bashing part, just laugh at [-- and sort of with --] the people who dis[respect] these instruments.
