Librarians are cool. They facilitate new worlds of learning for anyone who seeks to know more. I grew up always enjoying every librarian I knew -- my best friends have always been book people big-time -- but I realized how much people like librarians (despite that ol' shushy stereotype) as I watched patrons young and old approach my friend MG when she was a branch head in Houston.
