Technology: Virtual keyboards
Urban Legends Reference Pages: "At the 2003 ITU Telecom World exhibition held in Geneva, the Tokyo-based NEC corporation displayed a conceptual $30,000 prototype of what they dubbed a 'Pen-style Personal Networking Gadget Package,' or P-ISM."
(Fascinating to see for “real” since I envisioned and wrote about this in 1996.)

I'd had one of these virtual keyboards on order when the company announced them, but numerous delays by the company caused me to cancel. Here's a site that sells them: http://www.expansys-usa.com/product.asp?code=118539&partner=froogle. There isn't a projected monitor, but I thought you might want to know part of it is currently available.
Thanks!
