My property weathered the storm nicely, though with some fallen branches on the ground and power was out when I arrived (but it came on ten minutes ago). Now to "de-hunker" all my papers wrapped in plastic bags and my windows covered in tape... and find out how everyone else did.

Well Steve, glad that you are home and not much damage. I decided to evacuate via plane, five hours by flight, 21 hrs by vehicle, hmmmmmm, tough decision lol. I flew out Friday morning with my father and 14 mo old granddaugher. My son and daughter-in-law decised to rough it out. Not much roughing was reported and I am told my power in Northwest Houston never went out. A few loose branches fell to the ground and property maintnance will clean them, (life in a townhouse can have it advantages.)
